Edit or import
Updates replace the open tree. JSON retains exact text and IDs. Markdown creates new IDs. Supported: headings, nested bullets and plain text; rich Markdown is shown as text.
Save or export
No automatic saving. Exports contain the full outline, including collapsed branches. Browser saves stay on this device and are visible to other users of the same browser profile.
Map controls and limits
Select a node for full text. Double-click a map node to focus its branch. Use the small + or − controls to expand or collapse. Drag the background to pan. Zoom with the buttons or Ctrl/Alt + scroll. When the map itself has keyboard focus, arrow keys pan and +/− zoom.
The list supports keyboard navigation and starts by default on small screens. Imports allow up to 1,000 nodes, 40 levels and 500,000 text characters. The map shows up to 250 nodes at once; focus or search for more. Numeric paths reflect ancestry; JSON IDs remain stable when saved.
